Every prescription frame in this collection is handmade in Japan from aerospace-grade titanium or premium Japanese acetate, finished with genuine 18K or 14K gold plating, and precision-engineered to hold lens prescriptions without distortion over years of daily wear.
Why the Frame Material Matters for Prescription Glasses
Standard prescription frames are often made from alloys and plastics that compromise under the tension of fitted lenses — the frame flexes unevenly, affecting optical alignment and creating distortion at the lens edges. Our titanium optical frames resist this. The inherent rigidity and dimensional stability of titanium means the frame holds its geometry precisely, keeping lenses in their correct position regardless of temperature, humidity, or physical stress.

High-index lens compatibility is confirmed — our titanium frames handle thinner high-index lenses without the rim distortion that affects softer frame materials.
