The Design
The Charlotte was designed around its temples. The art-deco engravings — inspired by the architectural decoration of 1920s Paris — are cut into the Takiron Japanese acetate itself, not printed or applied, which means they remain crisp and visible indefinitely regardless of wear. The engravings finish at gold-tipped metal end pieces. Combined with the Charlotte's substantial frame proportions, the temples give the frame a visual completeness that most acetate frames lack.
