The Design
The Charlotte was designed around its temples. The art-deco engravings, inspired by the architectural decoration of 1920s Paris, are cut into the Takiron Japanese acetate itself, not printed or applied, which means they remain crisp and visible indefinitely regardless of wear. The engravings finish at gold-tipped metal end pieces. Combined with the Charlotte's substantial frame proportions, the temples give the frame a visual completeness that most acetate frames lack.
