L'Écurie Paris gold eyewear is the heart of our maison, and the most awarded collection we make. Every gold frame glasses style in this collection is handmade in Japan from aerospace-grade Japanese titanium, then finished with 0.5-micron 18K or 14K gold plating: significantly thicker than industry standard, and bonded to resist daily wear for decades.
Gold Eyeglass Frames Built Differently
Most gold eyeglasses frames on the market are gold-toned, a thin yellow PVD coating over steel or zinc alloy that fades within a year of daily wear. Our gold eyeglass frames are different. The base material is pure titanium: 45% lighter than steel, hypoallergenic, and completely corrosion-resistant. The gold plating is real, either 18K yellow gold or 14K white gold, applied by Japanese artisans using a process that bonds the metal at a molecular level.
The result is a pair of gold frame glasses that looks as precise and luminous after five years as the day you first wear them.
18K Gold vs 14K White Gold
We offer two gold finishes across our collection:
- 18K Yellow Gold: 75% gold content. Warm, rich, and immediately recognizable. The classic choice for gold glasses frames. Pairs naturally with warm and olive skin tones.
- 14K White Gold: A cooler, more understated finish. Sophisticated in a way that yellow gold is not. Increasingly the choice of collectors who prefer restraint over statement.
Both finishes are available in optical and sunglass configurations, and both carry our lifetime warranty.
Gold Prescription Glasses & Optical Frames
Every optical frame in this collection is prescription-ready. Our gold prescription glasses are compatible with all standard lens types: single vision, progressive, high-index, and anti-reflective coatings. The titanium base ensures the frame maintains precise alignment under the tension of fitted lenses, which is a known weakness of softer base metals.
If you need gold rim eyeglasses for daily professional wear, the Alexis, Leo, and Morgane optical styles are our most requested. All three are available in both 18K yellow gold and 14K white gold finishes.
Gold Metal Eyeglass Frames for Men & Women
Our gold metal eyeglass frames are designed without gender assignment. Proportions vary by model, not by category. The Leo and Paname styles suit broader faces and stronger features. The Alexis and Lissa are more refined in scale. All styles are available to any customer regardless of how they identify.

Every design in this collection is produced in a limited edition of 300 pieces. When a style sells out, it is retired. We do not reprint. Each frame is serial-numbered and comes with an authenticity card, a velvet case, and a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.
