L'Écurie Paris unites French design with Japanese manufacturing. The elegance is Parisian; the making is entrusted to Japan, where eyewear is treated as an art.
Our ateliers are in Sabae, Fukui, the city of eyewear, where frames have been made since 1905. Each one is shaped, polished and inspected by hand, by artisans who learned from the generation before.
Takiron acetate
Our acetate is Takiron, made in Japan. Dense and deeply pigmented, it polishes to a lacquer finish and holds its color and its shape for decades.
Japanese titanium
Our metal frames are cut from flexible Japanese titanium. Light on the face, it flexes without losing its line and keeps its fit year after year.
The lenses
Each tint is selected by eye, for the way it renders color and light. True colors, gentle contrast, and maximum UV protection, by Zeiss or Inui.
Presented with its certificate of authenticity
Each Papillon arrives in the L'Écurie Paris box with its vegan leather case, two cleaning cloths, one black and one printed with the house horses, a thank you card, and its certificate of authenticity.
